February 4-18, 2025
Restorative Treatment Planning
2 weeks virtual access
-Case selection, diagnosis, and patient presentation of appropriate treatment options -Examination of patient history, clinical findings, and radiographic data to determine implant feasibility -Single tooth and multiple teeth implant treatment planning -Aesthetic considerations and their impact on treatment planning for the anterior zone -Patient communication strategies, including informed consent and documentation -CBCT and interpretation of scans for implant treatment planning and feasibility assessment -Medicolegal aspects and risk management in implant dentistry -Assessment: Online exam to evaluate participants' understanding of key concepts
Module 2.
February 22-23, 2025
Extraction, Grafting, and Site Preparation
2 days in person
-Utilization of CBCT to assess the need for grafting at the time of extraction or pre-implant ridge augmentation -Overview of biologic materials, including membranes and various bone graft options -Bone grafting techniques -Flap design and suturing techniques -Hands-on training in grafting, flap design, and suturing using pig jaws and models -Extraction techniques and socket preservation procedures -Post-operative care, management of complications, and surgical follow-up
Module 3.
April 26-27, 2025
Implant Planning and Placement
2 days in person
-CBCT, IOS, and virtual implant planning techniques -Hands-on experience with implant planning software and guide design using 3D printing technology -Freehand implant placement -Flap and flapless techniques, along with guided surgery protocols -Implant placement for single teeth, short span bridges, and adjacent implants -Assessment of implant stability and strategies for troubleshooting challenging situations -Techniques for simultaneous grafting during implant placement -Cover screw, healing abutment, and immediate temporary options and selection based on case requirements

July 5, 2025
Case Submission and Treatment Planning
1-day live virtual format
-Participants submit case presentations, including CBCT scans, IOS data, medical history, dental history, and oral health assessments -Group treatment planning session to discuss each case and develop appropriate strategies and implant position for guide fabrication
Module 5.
July 19-20, 2025
Live Patient Implant Placement
2 days in person
-Participants bring patients for surgical implant treatment under supervision -Procedures may include single or multiple implant placements, with or without additional grafting -Recap session to discuss challenges, outcomes, and learning opportunities encountered during live patient treatment
Module 6.
August 23-24, 2025
Soft Tissue Management and Augmentation
2 days in person
-Soft tissue grafting techniques, including FGG and -CTG, at various stages of implant treatment -Hands-on training in soft tissue grafting using pig jaws
Module 7.
October 4-5, 2025
Implant Restorations
2 days in person
-Temporary restorations, both immediate and delayed -Soft tissue management using provisional restorations -Final impression techniques, both digital and conventional -Abutment and material selection based on case requirements -Communication and collaboration with dental laboratories -Techniques for achieving verification and passive fit in splinted restorations -Hands-on experience with prosthetic kits, drivers, torque wrenches, and other essential components -Occlusion planning and management for implant restorations -Long-term follow-up and maintenance protocols to ensure implant success
Module 8.
October 13-19, 2025
Full Arch Implants
1-week virtual access
-Introduction to full arch implant treatment planning and available options -Implant-retained and implant-supported prostheses -Fixed and removable prosthetic options -Treatment planning and restoring implant-retained mandibular overdentures
Module 9.
November 15-16, 2025
Live Patient Restorations: Second Stage and Final Impression
2 days inperson
-Participants perform second-stage surgery (if needed) and final impressions on their patients under supervision -Impression techniques (digital and conventional) -Verification of impression accuracy -Discussion of abutment selection based on case requirements -Communication with dental laboratory for restoration fabrication -Recap session to discuss challenges, outcomes, and learning opportunities encountered during the second stage and impression phase

November 22, 2025
Restorative Impression and Design Review
1-day live virtual format
-Participants submit IOS data and radiographs of the final impression for the restoration being fabricated -Group review and discussion of each participant's restorative design

November 17-23, 2025
Complications in Implant Dentistry
1 week virtual access
-Surgical complications -Biologic complications -Biomechanical complications -Screw loosening or fracture -Prosthetic complications -Strategies for minimising the risk of complications -Management of complications
Module 12.
December 6-7, 2025
Live Patient Restoration: Final Insertion
2 days in person
-Participants perform final insertion of implant restorations on their patients under supervision -Verification of fit, occlusion, and aesthetics of the final restoration -Patient education on care and maintenance of implant restorations -Post-insertion follow-up protocols -Recap session to discuss challenges, outcomes, and learning opportunities encountered during the final insertion phase
